Democrats who would censure and impeach the President for fighting the terrorists.

Democrats who would censure and impeach the President for fighting the terrorists.

On September 11, the President made a solemn commitment to protect the American people. The President made his choice. And many Democrats are making theirs, calling a program to defeat al Qaeda terrorists inside the U.S. an illegal and an "impeachable offense."

Where do you stand? Watch the video. And take action by signing our petition against repeated Democrat attempts to weaken these efforts to fight the terrorists and keep American families safe.

NYPD'S BLUE ANGEL CITY TARGETS TRIBUTE

Blue Angel NYPD 9-11-01 logo.Nitpicking bureaucrats are trying to clip the wings off an angel - a woman who runs a Web site devoted to slain NYPD officers - claiming she's engaged in trademark infringement for using the department logo.
Nitpicking bureaucrats: Weisel: "Have they got nothing better to do?" What do suppose Hillary and Chuckie think about this? Perhaps these nitpicking bureaucrats should visit here to be reminded of what happened in 2001.
Dee Cook, 41, the devoted operator of nypdangels.com, was slapped with a legal warning by the city's Law Department last week for using the letters NYPD in a graphic that merges a police badge with angel wings.

The lawyers told Cook the touching tribute to officers killed in the line of duty would have to go, since it breached the trademark over NYPD, which is owned by the city.

The comprehensive site lists every police officer who has died in the line of duty since 1849.

Richard Weisel, from the Brooklyn & Staten Island 10-13 Association, said Cook's site was often remarked on by the law-enforcement community, which treasures the boost to morale.

"She does more for the P.D. than the P.D. does for the P.D." Weisel said. "Have they got nothing better to do?" NY Post

Alec Baldwin v. Sean Hannity in Radio Donnybrook

BaldwinThis is too good.
HANNITY: Are you the guy that said of our vice president, while we're at war, while we're leading troops in harm's way - are you the reckless, third-rate Hollywood actor who said that Dick Cheney is a terrorist? Are you the guy . . .

BALDWIN: Yes I am.

HANNITY: ... who said to stone Henry Hyde to death? Are you the guy who said our president is a CIA mass murderer? I wanted you to come on the program and defend that, you gutless coward.

BALDWIN: OK. We're done. [Gets up and leaves the studio]

Global Warming

Time Magazine IN NEW 'GLOBAL WARMING' SCARE...
Environmentalists and lawmakers spent years shouting at one another about whether the grim forecasts were true, but in the past five years or so, the serious debate has quietly ended. Global warming, even most skeptics have concluded, is the real deal, and human activity has been causing it. If there was any consolation, it was that the glacial pace of nature would give us decades or even centuries to sort out the problem.
This story drones on and on with so called facts from so called experts with no opposing view.
Perhaps someone could explain this to me. I live in the Palm Springs area of Southern California where the summer temperature hovers around 110° F to 120° F and sometimes even hotter. It has been this temperature before temperatures could be recorded. Before the environmental wackos dreamed up global warming. The current temperatue is 61° F. from my window I can see the surrounding hills and mountains covered with snow.
1975 Newsweek article on global cooling.
There are ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production–with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now. The regions destined to feel its impact are the great wheat-producing lands of Canada and the U.S.S.R. in the North, along with a number of marginally self-sufficient tropical areas – parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina and Indonesia – where the growing season is dependent upon the rains brought by the monsoon.
Well, it seems the environmental wackos couldn't brainwash anyone with this so they came up with global warming.

National Security Strategy

Last Friday, the Bush administration released its second
National Security Strategy, an outline of U.S. national interests and what we will do to secure them. The NSS serves as the primary guidance for the conduct of all U.S. government agencies in regard to those interests.

Topping the list of critical national interests is the protection of our homeland from terrorist attack, and a reiteration of the Bush Doctrine of Pre-emption, making clear that the U.S. "will, if necessary, act pre-emptively in exercising our
inherent right of self-defense."

St. Paul, Minn. Officials Ban Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny has been sent packing at St. Paul City Hall.

A toy rabbit, pastel-colored eggs and a sign with the words "Happy Easter" were removed from the lobby of the City Council offices, because of concerns they might offend non-Christians.

A council secretary had put up the decorations. They were not bought with city money.

St. Paul's human rights director, Tyrone Terrill, asked that the decorations be removed, saying they could be offensive to non-Christians.

But City Council member Dave Thune says removing the decorations went too far, and he wonders why they can't celebrate spring with "bunnies and fake grass."
© 2006 Associated Press
This is an example of stunning stupidity, knit picking and ignorance by elected officials. The Easter Bunny has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity. The Easter Bunny lore started because of fertility of Spring time. Next the tooth fairy and the Grinch will be on their list. Of course, they won't ban crime, drugs or terrorism. Attacks against children are getting all too common. My happy childhood memories were hunting for Easter eggs. Unbelievable! ~ The Victim (Amen)

McCain On Top?

John McCainCarl Leubsdorf of the Dallas Morning News wrote a column recently calling John McCain "the man to beat" for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2008.

McCain is trying to move back to the right politically as he positions himself for his next Presidential campaign. It is too early to tell if he will be successful in wooing substantial conservative support, but Carl Leubsdorf of the News is definitely premature in calling Sen. John McCain the "GOP’s main man" in 2008.
Click McCain Photo to read the article.
McCain may be thought by some to be a RINO,
but if he's nominated he will win in the presidency!

The Minimum Wage

The current minimum wage in California is $6.75
The California Senate will consider raising the minimum wage to $7.50

The current minimum wage in Pennsylvania is $5.15
Pennsylvania Senate will consider a bill to raise the minimum wage
possibly to as high as $7.15 an hour.

The current minimum wage in Virginia is $5.15
The Virginia Legislature is currently considering hiking the minimum wage to $8.15

Instead of putting more money into their pockets, a minimum wage hike could cost them their jobs. Duke University researchers have found that after an increase in the minimum wage, the least-skilled employees are crowded out of their jobs as better educated teenagers are drawn into the work force.

Lawmakers may think they are helping low-income families put more money in their pockets, but legislation can’t repeal the laws of economics.

Will small business owners be compelled to layoff employees?
Will a McDonald's burger cost $5.00 or $7.00?
That won't happen because McDonald franchise owners will layoff 1/3 of their work force.

For most people, a steady paycheck is the best safety net they have. Low-income employees won’t benefit from a minimum wage increase if they’re no longer working.

Susan Sarandon Sours on Hillary

Clinton War Monger
Aligning herself with some in the Democratic base and the Hollywood left, actress-activist Susan Sarandon recently followed in her significant other's footsteps (those of Tim Robbins) and publicly slammed the presidential candidacy of none other than Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Not that long ago Robbins said that Senator Clinton could kiss his you know what. Sarandon was a bit milder in her comments.

"I find Hillary to be a great disappointment," Sarandon told More magazine. "She's lost her progressive following because of her caution and centrist approach."

The Left Coast Report says Hillary has that one special attribute that will cause the Sarandons, Robbins and Clooneys of the world to fall in line - she's not a Republican.

Bush Challenges Nation to Promote Freedom by Supporting Troops

The best way for the American people to promote freedom and liberty around the world is to stand behind the U. S. armed forces, President Bush told a group yesterday at the City Club of Cleveland.

Bush said it's his responsibility as president to ensure the public understands why the United States is waging the war on terror and why it's important to stay the course. "And so I will continue making the case. . . . But the best way you can help is to support our troops," he told a questioner in the audience at the free speech forum.

Bush praised the men and women who are sacrificing for the nation's long-term security. "Ours is a remarkable country where we've got thousands of people signing up, volunteering for the United States military, many of them after September the 11th, knowing full well what they were signing up for," he said.

"And what's amazing about our military is that retention rates are high; people are still signing up," he said. "They want to . . . defend the country. And for that, I am grateful."

Liberal Democrats Real Agenda Weaken our national security.

Received from the Chairman of The Republican National Committee

This week, Senator Russ Feingold proposed censuring the President simply for doing his job to protect Americans from terrorist attack.

I urge you to reject this cheap political stunt. Instead of playing politics with national security, Democrat leaders should finally get serious about fighting the War on Terror.

We are a nation at war. Our President has no more basic responsibility than to protect the American people. The threat is real and every moment counts. Senate Democrats should spend less time weakening the tools we need to fight the War on Terror, and more time focusing on how we can fight the terrorists who want to kill Americans by the thousands.

Weakening our national security is their agenda. Is it yours? Sign the petition to tell the Democrat leaders to stop undermining the War on Terror with cheap political stunts.

Many veterans are unaware that their GI Bill benefits will expire after ten years and just over 50% of eligible veterans use their GI Bill at all. You only have ten years to use your GI Bill from your date of discharge. Since the GI Bill currently pays out over $1000 a month, or $37,000 over 36 months, you could be missing out on a huge benefit. Good News for California's Drivers / Women's History Month

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced that they will eliminate the 2 percent oxygenate mandate later this year, allowing California refineries greater flexibility to produce more cost-effective gasoline formulations. For years, Congresswoman Bono, along with several of her California colleagues, has pressured the EPA to waive the 2 percent oxygenate mandate in California and worked to include this waiver in the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Navy Uniform Concepts Approved

If you served or serving in the Navy you might be interested in this.

The Chief of Naval Operations has approved production of both a BDU-style working uniform for all Sailors E-1 to O-10 and a more practical, year-round service uniform to withstand day-to-day classroom and office-like environments where the service uniform is typically worn.

Washington D.C. - Outfitting the Sailor of the future took another step forward last week when Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen approved plans for a single working uniform for all ranks and a year-round service uniform for E-6 and below Sailors.

A Salute to Women Veterans
The theme for this year's Women's History Month, "Women: Builders of Communities & Dreams," honors the spirit of possibility and hope set in motion by generations of women in their creation of communities and their encouragement of dreams. Women served valiantly and died in every major war and conflict throughout our nation's history. Officially, women have been serving on active duty in the U.S. military since 1901. Unofficially, they have been serving since the American Revolution. For more information on women's service to our country including information on benefits available to women veterans, visit the Center for Women Veterans website.

Idiot Teacher Justifies 9/11 Attacks

Here's more from Rush.
RUSH: That long-haired, maggot-infested FM type teacher [now with shaved head] from Aurora, Colorado, trying to get his story out now.
Lauer to Bennish: Punk Kid Set You Up Listen Here

Listen to Rush 4 sound bites from the idiot teacher.
As Rush says,"The teacher is one of these long-haired, maggot-infested FM types.

BENNISH: Now, if we have the right to fly into Bolivia and Peru and drop chemical weapons on top of farmers' fields because we're afraid they might be growing cocoa and that could be turned into cocaine and sold to us, well, then don't the Peruvians and the Iranians and the Chinese have the right to invade America and drop chemical weapons over North Carolina to destroy the tobacco plants that are killing millions and millions of people in their countries every year and causing them billions of dollars in health care costs?

BENNISH: Where in this definition does it say anything about capitalism is an economic system that will provide everybody in the world with the basic needs that they need? Is that part of the system? Do you see how this economic system is at odds with humanity, at odds with caring and compassion, it's at odds with human rights?

BENNISH: Now, do we really want to kill innocent people? I don't know. I don't know the answer to that. I know that there are some Americans who do, people who work in the CIA, people who have to think like that, those kind of dirty minds, dirty tricks, that's how the intelligence world works. Sometimes you do want to kill people just for the sake of killing them.

BENNISH: When Al-Qaeda attacked America on September 11th, in their view they're not attacking innocent people, okay? The CIA has an office in the World Trade Center. Pentagon is a military target. The White House was a military target. Congress is a military target.

BENNISH: To many Americans, that flag is no different than the Nazi flag or the Confederate flag it. It represents people that came and stole their land, lied, brought disease, rape, pillage, destruction, et cetera.

Speaker of the House...Nancy Pelosi?

Speaker of the House...Nancy Pelosi?
Patriot Post HTML version PDF Version
Kind of makes the eyes water, doesn't it—but it's not idle speculation. In eight short months, 435 House seats, and 33 in the Senate, will be subject to the rigors of democratic selection, and from this vantage point, short of some major alteration of current trends, Republicans are in trouble.

This is what will happen if Bush doesn't right the ship. He doesn't have much time to do it. Fortunately we American's have a political attention span of 5 minutes.
So, shape up Mr. President. Let's get back to what got you here.
Voting for a Democrat is unthinkable.

Unfortunately many Republicans don't think this way.

Ted Kennedy Wants Windmills Killed

The Cape Wind Project would erect 130 windmills in Nantucket Sound and could provide three-fourths of the power needed by Cape Cod and nearby islands, which is now largely supplied by coal-fired plants.

But the project had a powerful enemy in Sen. Kennedy, who has voiced strong support for alternative energy projects - as long as they are not in his backyard.

"The problem was not aesthetic; the Kennedys wouldn't be able to actually see the turbines from their home. Instead Robert Kennedy Jr., who had been beating the drum for alternative sources of energy for more than a decade, complained that the project would be built in one of the family's favorite sailing and yachting areas."

Do As I Say (Not As I Do) Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy
Members of the liberal left exude an air of moral certitude. They pride themselves on being selflessly committed to the highest ideas and seem particularly confident of the purity of their motives and the evil nature of their opponents. To correct economic and social injustice, liberals support a whole litany of policies and principles: progressive taxes, affirmative action, greater regulation of corporations, raising the inheritance tax, strict environmental regulations, children’s rights, consumer rights, and much, much more.
  • Filmmaker Michael Moore claims he doesn't invest in the stock market. In fact, his foundation has bought shares in scores of companies, including Halliburton, which he routinely castigates.
  • House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi champions organized labor. But Pelosi and her husband own a vineyard that employs only nonunion workers. And she owns part of a California resort that is also nonunion.
  • Comedian?? Al Franken often charges that Republicans are racists, yet his staff is actually whiter than Bob Jones University, a school that Franken labels "racist."
  • "Environmentalist" Ted Kennedy opposed a "clean energy" wind-power system off Cape Cod - because it was close to his family compound in Hyannis, Mass. Do As I Say
