10 Good Reasons why you should vote Republican

Here are 10 good reasons why you should vote Republican come election day. You won't hear about them on ABC CBS NBC News.
I have posted all of them because I want the "Cut and Run Conservatives" to see this without having to click a link.

Reason #1. The economy is kicking butt. It is robust, vibrant, strong and growing. In the 36 months since the Bush tax cuts ended the recession that began under President Clinton, the economy has experienced astonishing growth. Over the first half of this year, our economy grew at a strong 4.1 percent annual rate, faster than any other major industrialized nation. This strong economic activity has generated historic revenue growth that has shrunk the deficit. A continued commitment to spending restraint has also contributed to deficit reduction.

Reason #2. Unemployment is almost nil for a major economy, and is verging on full employment. Recently, jobless claims fell to the lowest level in 10 weeks. Employment increased in 48 states over the past 12 months ending in August. Our economy has now added jobs for 37 straight months.

Reason #3. The Dow is hitting record highs. In the past few days, the Dow climbed above 12,000 for the first time in the history of the stock market, thus increasing the value of countless pension and 401(k) that funds many Americans rely on for their retirement years.

Reason #4. Wages have risen dramatically. According to the Washington Post, demand for labor helped drive workers' average hourly wages, not including those of most managers, up to $16.84 last month -- a 4 percent increase from September 2005, the fastest wage growth in more than five years. Nominal wage growth has been 4.1 percent so far this year. This is better or comparable to its 1990s peaks. Over the first half of 2006, employee compensation per hour grew at a 6.3 percent annual rate adjusted for inflation. Real after-tax income has risen a whopping 15 percent since January 2001. Real after-tax income per person has risen by 9 percent since January 2001.

Reason #5. Gas prices have plunged. According to the Associated Press, the price of gasoline has fallen to its lowest level in more than 10 months. The federal Energy Information Administration said Monday that U.S. motorists paid $2.21 a gallon on average for regular grade last week, a decrease of 1.8 cents from the previous week. Pump prices are now 40 cents lower than a year ago and have plummeted by more than 80 cents a gallon since the start of August. The previous 2006 low for gasoline was set in the first week of January, when pump prices averaged $2.238. In the week ending Dec. 5, 2005, prices averaged $2.19. Today, gasoline can be found for less than $2 a gallon in many parts of the country.

Reason #6. Since 9/11, no terrorist attacks have occurred on U.S. soil. Since 9/11 the U.S. has not been attacked by terrorists thanks to such programs as the administration's monitoring of communications between al-Qaida operatives overseas and their agents in the U.S. and the monitoring of the international movement of terrorist funds -- both measure bitterly opposed by Democrats.

Reason #7. Productivity is surging and has grown by a strong 2.5 percent over the past four quarters, well ahead of the average productivity growth in the last 30 years. Strong productivity growth helps lead to the growth of the Gross Domestic Product, higher real wages, and stronger corporate profits.

Reason #8. The Prescription Drug Program is working. Despite dire predictions that most seniors would refrain from signing up to the new Medicare prescription benefits program, fully 75 percent of all those on Medicare have enrolled, and the overwhelming majority say they are happy with the program.

Reason #9. Bush has kept his promise of naming conservative judges. He has named two conservative justices to the Supreme Court, Chief Justice John G. Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito. In addition, he has named conservative justices who are devoted to the Constitution as it is written and not as activist liberal judges think it means. The strong likelihood that one or more justices will retire from the Supreme Court makes it mandatory for the Republicans to hold the Senate and have a chance to name new conservative justices.

Reason #10. The deficit has been cut in half three years ahead of the president's 2009 goal, with the 2006 fiscal year budget deficit down to $248 billion. The tax cuts have stimulated the economy and are working.
In contrast to this stunning record of real achievement, the Democrats offer no real plans for the way they want to improve America or make us safer. MORE

IREY: NOW JACK MURTHA IS TO THE LEFT OF ... THE ACLU!

HERE'S WHAT OUR SOLDIERS IN IRAQ ARE SAYING TO DIANA IREY:
"Mrs. Irey, I am a soldier currently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom and I am appalled at the remarks that Mr. Murtha has made regarding all aspects of the war and military in general. I used to serve with the USMC as a corpsman and was always told Semper Fidelis (always faithful) and "once a marine, always a marine", I guess to Mr. Murtha these slogans only have meaning during nonelection years. Good Luck in the election. We are all rooting for you in the election. May you restore the pride and leadership that Mr. Murtha has eroded in his congressional district."

They're dancing in the end zone

The White HousePress Conference by the President
President Bush yesterday flagged Democrats for premature "dancing in the end zone," and predicted the front-running party would fumble away their chances of congressional control by Election Day.

"I understand here in Washington people have already determined the outcome of the election, like it's over even before the people actually start heading -- voting. But that's not what I see when I'm on the campaign trail. Yes, we've got some people dancing in the end zone here in Washington, D.C.; they've got them measuring their drapes; they're going over to the Capitol, and saying, my new office looks beautiful, (poke at House Minority Leader Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi, who quipped she'd have any office in the Capitol she wanted when Democrats take control.) I think I'm going to have this size drape there, or this color. But the American people are going to decide, and they're going to decide this race based upon who best to protect the American people and who best to keep the taxes low." more

Don’t buy the liberal dogma. Go vote on Election Day!
Liberals and their pals in the media are desperate for conservatives to stay at home instead of going to the polls on November 7th. They know that when conservatives vote, conservatives win!
In fact, the latest polls offer some encouraging news; as Dick Morris and Eileen McGann observed earlier today, “[I]t is beginning to look possible that the Democratic surge in the midterm elections may fall short of control in either House.” Click here to continue reading
So don’t let liberal dogma prevail. On Election Day, exercise your civil right and patriotic obligation: go vote!

The History of Republican Evil

The Republican Party was formed in 1854 specifically to oppose the Democrats, and for more than 150 years, they have done everything they could to block the Democrat agenda. In their abuses of power, they have even used threats and military violence to thwart the Democrat Party’s attempts to make this a progressive country. As you read the following Republican atrocities that span three centuries, imagine if you will, what a far different nation the United States would be had not the Republicans been around to block the Democrats’ efforts. Clinton-Spencer Debate
The first debate between incumbent junior Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and the challenger John Spencer occurred Friday night, and your opinion of who the winner and loser was likely depends on which media source you rely on. As one would expect, the New York Times gave the win to the Democrat. Conversely, former Clinton administration advisor Dick Morris felt Hillary lost “big time”. View The Debate

I'm going to stay home and not vote

Liberal Marching Orders
I've heard enough of "I'm going to stay home and not vote to teach the Republicans a lesson."
Here's the lesson you'll learn by not voting and letting the Democrats win.
Rangel Promises To Raise Your Taxes If Dem's Take Control
Then we have the toe sucker with this: (A Clinton White House Liberal.)
There Goes The GOP Base — And Probably Both Houses

So, stay home and let the Dem's win. The party that doesn't give a wit about this nations security - the party that advocates the al-Qaeda terrorists bill of rights.

And if you haven't been paying attention.
Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House.

What a disgusting thought.

You may say what ever the Democrats do Bush will veto.
Oh yea. How many bills has Bush vetoed?

An e-mail sent this week by the conservative group GOPUSA.com carried the subject line, "How dare you not vote," and featured a column by veteran activist Doug Patton appealing to Republican voters' patriotism.

I will vote on November 7 and I will not vote for anyone with a D after their name.

See side bar ->
Clinton Ad MontageFox News Channel has decided to ban The Move America Forward new pro-troop ad "Defending Freedom" which counters former President Clinton's recent comments that undermined the war against terrorism.

Why Fox would refuse to allow their viewers to hear this message is something we do not understand. Now is the time for all of you reading this to stand hand-in-hand with Move America Forward and work to get this ad seen in spite of those who seem intent on making sure it is NOT seen.

Bush To Blame For North Korea Nukes

Harry Reid Blames Bush, Iraq for North Korea

Timeline of Clinton's North Korea Failures pdf

Clinton's Legacy: North Korea's Bomb
NewsMax details how Clinton administration policies during the 1990s — and Jimmy Carter's meddling, gave North Korea the time to build a small arsenal of nuclear weapons.

HILLARY: "Some of the reason we are facing this danger is because of the failed policies of the Bush administration, and I regret deeply their failure to deal with the threat posed by North Korea, and I hope that the administration will now adopt a much more effective response than what they have up until now."

Rush: "Blame Bush for this? The nuclear materials were delivered to Kim Jong Il by your husband, you dingbat! Your husband and his secretary of state and your fearless ex-president, Jimmy Carter, personally delivered the nuclear equipment for this test to take place today. You did this starting in 1994." "Who's on First?"

Let's take a break from all the politics.

Abbott and CostelloYou have to be old enough to remember Abbott and Costello, and too old to REALLY understand computers, to fully appreciate this. For those of us who sometimes get flustered by our computers, please read on...

If Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were alive today, their infamous sketch,
"Who's on First?" might have turned out something like this:

COSTELLO CALLS TO BUY A COMPUTER FROM ABBOTT

ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you?

COSTELLO: Thanks. I'm setting up an office in my den and I'm thinking about buying a computer.

ABBOTT: Mac?

COSTELLO: No, the name's Lou.

ABBOTT: Your computer?

COSTELLO: I don't own a computer. I want to buy one.

ABBOTT: Mac?

COSTELLO: I told you, my name's Lou.

ABBOTT: What about Windows?

COSTELLO: Why? Will it get stuffy in here?

ABBOTT: Do you want a computer with Windows?

COSTELLO: I don't know. What will I see when I look at the windows?

ABBOTT: Wallpaper.

COSTELLO: Never mind the windows. I need a computer and software.

ABBOTT: Software for Windows?

COSTELLO: No. On the computer! I need something I can use to write proposals, track expenses and run my business.
What do you have?

ABBOTT: Office.

COSTELLO: Yeah, for my office. Can you recommend anything?

ABBOTT: I just did.

COSTELLO: You just did what?

ABBOTT: Recommend something.

COSTELLO: You recommended something?

ABBOTT: Yes.

COSTELLO: For my office?

ABBOTT: Yes.

COSTELLO: OK, what did you recommend for my office?

ABBOTT: Office.

COSTELLO: Yes, for my office!

ABBOTT: I recommend Office with Windows.

COSTELLO: I already have an office with windows!
OK, let's just say I'm sitting at my computer and I want to type a proposal. What do I need?

ABBOTT: Word.

COSTELLO: What word?

ABBOTT: Word in Office.

COSTELLO: The only word in office is office.

ABBOTT: The Word in Office for Windows.

COSTELLO: Which word in office for windows?

ABBOTT: The Word you get when you click the blue "W".

COSTELLO: I'm going to click your blue "w" if you don't start with some straight answers?
What about financial bookkeeping? You have anything I can track my money with?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: That's right. What do you have?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: I need money to track my money?

ABBOTT: It comes bundled with your computer.

COSTELLO: What's bundled with my computer?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: Money comes with my computer?

ABBOTT: Yes. No extra charge.

COSTELLO: I get a bundle of money with my computer? How much?

ABBOTT: One copy.

COSTELLO: Isn't it illegal to copy money?

ABBOTT: Microsoft gave us a license to copy Money.

COSTELLO: They can give you a license to copy money?

ABBOTT: Why not? THEY OWN IT!

(A few days later)

ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you?

COSTELLO: How do I turn my computer off?

ABBOTT: Click on "START..."

IMSafer scans your kids' IMs [Update]

WHO KNEW CONGRESSMAN FOLEY WAS A CLOSETED DEMOCRAT?
By Ann Coulter x Archives
Pero said...
Foley's a sick bastard either way, but have you been to Drudge tonight?
News coming out that Foley's email boy-toy might not have been a boy, but a man.....Hmmmm.
I can already see the Dems turning this story, claiming the Republicans overreacted and mistreated a homosexual, making him quit his post out of homophobia.
There's always a twist........And it'll be interesting to see what pops up from what Drudge is saying.
But upon reviewing the records, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, the young man was in fact over the age of 18 at the time of the exchange.

What Foley did was grotesque.
Foley is gone.
FREEDOM EDEN: SHOCKER: Brian Ross and ABC Expose MORE of Foley
Liberals are attacking Foley for what they glorify,
Nambla Man/Boy Love and the Gay Movement.
PSA: IMSafer, a new service designed to protect children using instant messaging from online predators.
Is IMSafer free?
Initially, yes. We want to get as many parents using it as possible. In the future, we will be charging a small yearly subscription fee for people monitoring 1-5 IM accounts. A slightly higher fee will be required to monitor 6 or more accounts. It will always be free to monitor just one account, but you will also only have a limited set of categories of alerts being monitored.

Foley Hasn't Been The Only One!!!

Democrats trying to make political hay out of the resignation of Florida Republican Congressman Mark Foley should take a good look at their own party. There was Bill Clinton’s last minute pardon of former Rep. Mel Reynolds, D-IL, who had been imprisoned for having sex with a 16-year-old staffer. (He was later hired by Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition; both Clinton and Jackson had also had sex with subordinates.) There is the case of Rep. Barney Frank, D-MA, whose office housed a prostitution ring. However, less known is one Hawaiian case, in which more than seven high ranking Democrat senators and representatives (and one Republican) worked to assist one Leon Rouse – a convicted child molester serving time on underage sex charges in the Philippines. Rouse, now released after 8 years in prison, was hired last session as an employee of a Democrat-controlled Hawaii state Legislative Committee. 2008 Democratic presidential hopeful Russ Feingold also came to his defense, along with a Clinton-era U.S. embassy and more than half-a-dozen Democrats. FrontPageMagazine.com

Before you Liberals get your panties in a twist, Foley isn't the only one who has ever had sexual scandals with White House Pages!

A member of the ACLU

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes." The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied, "God was too busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid shit and act like an asshole. So, He sent me."

Democratic Caucus Has Links to Socialists

Need further proof that a Democratic victory in the House in November would swing the lower legislative body far to the left?

Many of the Congressmen who would become chairmen of powerful House committees are members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, co-founded by avowed Socialist Bernard Sanders.

The Progressive Caucus has had strong links to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International Party, and the DSA hosted the Caucus’ Web site during the 1990s.

The DSA’s Web site declares: “We are socialists because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.”

The Congressional Progressive Caucus itself has stated that it seeks the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq as soon as possible, and elimination of all forms of discrimination based on sexual orientation.

One prominent member of the Caucus is Charles Rangel from New York, who would become the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee – the most powerful committee in the House – if the Democrats gain a majority of seats in the midterm elections.

As NewsMax reported in a recent story profiling the likely leadership of a Democratic-controlled House, the Democrats need to pick up only 15 seats to gain the majority for the first time since 1994, and a number of recent polls show strong public sentiment in favor of Democrats.

Under House rules, the majority party selects the chairman of each committee and subcommittee, and Democrats traditionally go strictly by seniority when selecting a committee chairperson.

That means the chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee would go to outspoken liberal John Conyers from Michigan, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Here are other members of the Caucus and the committees they would chair:
Barney Frank (Mass.), Financial Services.
Henry Waxman (Calif.), Government Reform.
George Miller (Calif.), Education and Workforce.
Bennie Thompson (Miss.), Homeland Security.
Tom Lantos (Calif.), International Relations.
Louise Slaughter (N.Y.), Rules.
Nydia Velasquez (N.Y.), Small Business.
Sanders is giving up his House seat and running for the Senate from Vermont

Murtha and the FBI

The American Spectator: Murtha and the FBI: The Director's Cut
For more than 26 years, Congressman John P. "Jack" Murtha (D-Penn.) has not been truthful about his involvement in Abscam, court records and the complete video of his meeting with the FBI show.

"What the FBI undercover surveillance tape makes clear is two-fold: First, that -- contrary to his assertions at the time, and ever since -- it is clear that Jack Murtha believed he had made a deal to accept $50,000 in cash in exchange for helping that Arab oil sheik get into the country with special, private legislation; and, second, that his stated defense for the last 26 years -- that he went to the meeting solely to discuss business investments in the District -- was a fraud at the time, and has been a fraud ever since.

"First, to the matter of the deal itself. Early in the meeting, Jack Murtha designated Howard Criden -- a Philadelphia attorney acting as a middleman -- as his agent, to accept the $50,000 on his behalf. You can see that about 16 minutes into the tape, or find it on page 5 of your transcript, where Mr. Murtha says, 'I'll deal through Howard … eh, uh … in this thing.'

"Leaving a room where one has just been offered $50,000 in cash, only to return two minutes later with a bag man saying 'John says that it is okay for you to give me what's in that drawer,' is not something done by a man who's not aware he's trying to take a bribe.
