Congress / Troop Surge
IMAGINE shopping at an open market. Lots of people buying, selling, having fun. Suddenly a parked car explodes.“Destroying a president is not much of a strategy to win a war, but it’s all the Democrats have. The churls of the left don’t seem to care whether their country wins the war, the important thing is to ‘keep hate alive.’ If hate worked in ‘06, maybe it will work again in ‘08, when the stakes will be considerably higher. Sometimes it’s not only hate, but a bit of schadenfreude, too, taking pleasure in the woes of the enemy. ‘Partisan pleasure in George Bush’s pain dates to the anguish of the contested 2000 election loss,’ observes Daniel Henninger in the Wall Street Journal. ‘The Democrats have run against something called ‘Bush’ for so long this sentiment is now bound up in any act or policy remotely attached to the president. Iraq’s troubles, or Iran or North Korea, are merely an artifact of crushing this one guy.’ The president’s tormentors in Congress, some old and some new, insist they don’t have anything against the fine young Americans with their lives on the line in Iraq, but the troops are dispensable to the larger partisan goal of destroying George W. and abdicating the responsibility that comes with being the world’s only superpower. If the troops are hurt, too, well, that’s just a risk the critics will have to endure.” —Wesley Pruden February 19
People standing closest are vaporized. Body parts fly everywhere. You're one of the "fortunate" ones, knocked to the ground and temporarily stunned. You struggle to your feet trying to comprehend the screams, the blood and the carnage.
Next, imagine the authorities telling you this is something you'll have to get used to. Why? They've "lost their patience" trying to protect you.
You've been written off as a "policy mistake."
Good luck in the future. ~ Arnold Ahlert

COWARDS GIVE UP ON GIS - & GIVE IN TO EVIL

PROVIDING aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime is treason. It's not "just politics." It's treason.
The "nonbinding resolution" telling the world that we intend to surrender to terrorism and abandon Iraq may be the most disgraceful congressional action since the Democrat Party united to defend slavery.
The vote was a huge morale booster for al Qaeda, for Iraq's Sunni insurgents, and for the worst of the Shia militias.
IF PEARL HARBOR HAPPENED TODAYxDON'T WORRY, WE GOT YOUR BACK
With very few exceptions, Democrats have collectively become the anti-war party. The party of Jane Fonda, who once strapped on a Vietnamese anti-aircraft weapon and giggled in support of North Vietnam.

The whole thing makes my blood boil.......And to think these morons could control both branches of govt in a couple years.
Makes me sick.
I know, it is sad and sickening to even think what these people are doing to this country.
Wanted: A Pill To Cure Liberalism
So what are the behavioral characteristics that lead Joan Swirsky to conclude as she has? First, it is a suspicion that the core of liberal ‘thinking’ is the same sort of pathology that characterizes other mental disorders, i.e. a “glitch in the brain that produces ‘feelings’ and behavior over which liberals have no control. Liberals are uniformly glum, not only in their grim demeanors and persistent anger, but also in their outlooks… And when their theories are refuted by hard facts they are unable to process the true from the untrue because their ‘feelings’ always trump their reason.”
