Six men described by federal prosecutors as "Islamic militants" were arrested on charges they plotted to attack the Fort Dix Army base and "kill as many soldiers as possible," authorities said Tuesday.

The six were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden later Tuesday to face charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. servicemen, said Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey.

U.S. agents who infiltrated the group arrested the men last night and charged five of them with conspiring to kill U.S. soldiers. They face a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted. A sixth was charged with aiding and abetting illegal possession of firearms. He faces 10 years in prison. More --- Muslims fear backlash from Fort Dix attack plot
Before the next national Election Day arrives, every patriotic voter must discern the traitors of our country who are out-and-out obstructionists. The obnoxious, lying accusers of the president have been attacking and maligning President George W. Bush during his entire tenure in office. Their extreme radical behavior is neither excusable nor acceptable. We are at war against terror, not the president. ~ Marie Jon'
How unfair of the authorities to use surveilence to pursue and capture these would-be murderers.
THANK GOD FOR THE PATRIOT ACT. pdf
Equally important, however, is Bush's willingness to allow the authorities to use the tools at their disposal.....It's one thing to have great tools, but they are useless without the ability and desire to use them. A lesson we learned from the failures of the Clinton Admin. ~ Pero
