GOP Candidates Call for Profiling of Muslims, Arabs
Calling it a "strategy to combat terrorism," Florida Republican congressional candidate Mark Flanagan called for Muslims to be profiled at airports, a strategy that has been decried by American Muslim groups.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. So, profile that duck to determine if it's a good duck or a bad duck."It is a fact that over the past thirty-four years, starting with the Munich Olympics, the majority of terrorist attacks have been carried out by Muslims," Flanagan said in a statement Monday.
Paul Nelson, the Republican vying for the third district congressional seat in Wisconsin also supports the idea of targeting Muslims for greater security scrutiny.
"Racial profiling is one way that we can cut down on security risks," Nelson said, according to the website of radio station WIXK in New Richmond, Wis. "It's time to stop being politically correct here and be serious and tough on the war on terror." (CNSNews.com)
If The 'Islamic Fascists' who attacked us on September 11, 2001 were profiled more than 3,000 people would be alive today.

Profiling has taken on such a negative connotation.
It congers up images of prejudice and bigotry.
In reality, isn't it just common sense?
Isn't it irresponsible to NOT profile?
We know who the enemy is because they keep telling us. Why would we not give closer scrutiny to those fitting the profile?
For example, if a young blonde woman committed a murder and was trying to flee the country, should officials be on the lookout for African American elderly males?
That would be ridiculous.
It's common sense.
In my younger days I sported a bushy dark mustache and I was well tanned.
A few friends and I went on a fishing trip to México.
Returning to the U.S. we were stopped at the border by the Border Patrol and I was profiled for obvious reasons. They thought I was an illegal.
This all took about 5 minutes because I had the proper I.D., a México tourist card and, a Passport.
Everything worked as it should.
The Border Patrol did its job and you were able to prove that you were not crossing illegally.
Case closed.
