IMSafer scans your kids' IMs [Update]
WHO KNEW CONGRESSMAN FOLEY WAS A CLOSETED DEMOCRAT?
By Ann Coulter x Archives
Pero said...But upon reviewing the records, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, the young man was in fact over the age of 18 at the time of the exchange.
Foley's a sick bastard either way, but have you been to Drudge tonight?
News coming out that Foley's email boy-toy might not have been a boy, but a man.....Hmmmm.
I can already see the Dems turning this story, claiming the Republicans overreacted and mistreated a homosexual, making him quit his post out of homophobia.
There's always a twist........And it'll be interesting to see what pops up from what Drudge is saying.
What Foley did was grotesque.
Foley is gone.
FREEDOM EDEN: SHOCKER: Brian Ross and ABC Expose MORE of Foley
Liberals are attacking Foley for what they glorify, Nambla Man/Boy Love and the Gay Movement.
PSA: IMSafer, a new service designed to protect children using instant messaging from online predators.
Is IMSafer free?
Initially, yes. We want to get as many parents using it as possible. In the future, we will be charging a small yearly subscription fee for people monitoring 1-5 IM accounts. A slightly higher fee will be required to monitor 6 or more accounts. It will always be free to monitor just one account, but you will also only have a limited set of categories of alerts being monitored.

I enjoy reading your site. I like to read all points of view. Again, I hope you don’t mind if I interject some thoughts for discussion. I am a Liberal, meaning I am open to view all issues. I am liberal enough to reject issues in which I disagree. I am also conservative in many traditional values. I am a born again Christian. Politically, I am currently an Independent after being a Democrat for 30 years.
Not everything is black and white. Not all Democrats, Liberals, Republicans or Conservatives think the same as their respective groups. The fact that we don’t all think “lock in step” is what makes America the greatest country in the world. Which why I take exception to the statement that “Liberals are attacking Foley for what they glorify, Nambla…” As a liberal, I would never glorify such repulsive behavior. We shouldn’t paint with such broad strokes. If that were the case, Conservatives would be child predators, just as Foley. But we know that not to be true. I am sure that “Nambla” would be considered a liberal fringe group, but that certainly doesn’t mean that all liberals condone such a deviant faction.
I totally agree with your thoughts on making our children safer from people who do harm to them.
Yours is a very conservative site, and I know some conservative sites in which I have posted do not like dissenting voices (opinions that differ from theirs), if that is the case here, please let me know and I won’t bother you with my thoughts.
Hello again Many,
"NAMBLA is a political, civil rights, and educational organization. We provide factual information and help educate society about the positive and beneficial nature of man/boy love."
ABC could have withheld the 2003 tapes for their October surprise.
However, I believe, they withheld them so they would not alienate the homosexuals. We all know homosexuals are predominately Democrat liberal voters.
Many, You are welcome to comment here.
Your post says, you are an Independent then further down you say, you are a liberal ("As a liberal") and your profile says, you are, "I am a moderate (most of the time)."
So, I guess I'm a little confused.
I know an Independent, most of the time, is a liberal.
I also know a moderate, most of the time, doesn't know what he is until he holds up his finger to see which way the wind blows.
Give a Liberal a thought and he'll repeat it mindlessly all day.
Teach a Liberal to think for himself and he'll vote Republican.
I am glad that Many is condemning NAMBLA.
Generalities are just that -- generalities.
Whenever I hear something like "Women think this" or "Women think that" it drives me nuts.
Obviously, all women don't think alike.
But when it comes to politics, there are issues that define one's standing on the liberal - conservative spectrum.
Although there are always exceptions to the rule, in this case Many, I think it's fair to state what the majority believes.
Thank you for allowing me to post.I enjoy the dance.
RJ, you seem want to pigeon hole people politically, which is why you may be confused about someone like me, however, I represent a larger majority of folks in this country than those on the far right or far left. I examine an issue on its merit before forming an opinion. My opinions are based on scripture, my own experiences and my knowledge of the issue. My opinions on certain issues may be subject to change depending on my acquired knowledge about them, other issues I will not compromise.
Moderates are the ones who keep the country centered. I think quite the opposite of your wind blowing analogy. Don’t confuse those who can’t make up their minds because they lack knowledge to form an opinion with a moderate. To quote Dwight Eisenhower, "The middle of the road is all of the usable surface. The extremes, right and left, are in the gutters."
Back to the Foley incident and homosexuals. I think you are absolutely correct in that the gay community is more likely vote Democrat as they are more inclusive. However, Foley is just a symptom of the Republican Party hiding their many closet gays and even hiding their openly gay people as in Log Cabin Republicans and in my own state an openly gay Republican Congressman.
Foley's a sick bastard either way, but have you been to Drudge tonight?

A couple questions for One of Many, if you don't mind:
You say you are "open to view all issues."
What took you away from the Democrat Party? When you vote do you vote Independant, and have you voted Republican since changing?
You say you are a Liberal, but what kind of Liberal are you? An FDR Liberal? A JFK Liberal? An LBJ Liberal? Or a modern-day Ted Kennedy/Bill Clinton/Nancy Pelosi Liberal?
Or are you a liberal..........Small "l" liberal?
I am a small "l" liberal, but am a modern Conservative........I hope you understand this difference.
I also hope you will answer these, because it sounds to me like you've been either a JFK Democrat or a Democrat-by-Habit, and may be looking to hop off and over the fence.
Pero,
Thanks for the heads up about the Drudge Report.
I'll update that to the main post.
Keep coming back, Many.
I think Pero's in line for the next dance.
He asks a couple of questions.
Poisen, I am not sure why it is so important to put a meter on someone’s political views (i.e. big “L”, small “l”). I am an American and that should say it all. I am issue oriented more than party oriented. If we had two decent “major” parties to choose from then I would not be an Independent. I am a moderate and I lean slightly to the left. I was a lifelong Democrat. My father was an elected Democrat way back when. I have voted Republican a few times in local elections. I am a member and supporter of the Ronald Reagan Library Foundation. However, do not read more into that than what it is. I am a strong supporter of civil rights.
I left the Democratic Party four years ago when the Democratic legislators did not stand up in fury over going to war in Iraq. I was sickened by their apathy and unwillingness to stand up and not be bullied this administration.
I am an American period. My father’s ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War. My mother’s parents immigrated from Denmark. My husband is a combat Marine Vietnam vet. Both of my sons have or are serving in the military. My younger son is an Iraqi War veteran serving as a combat Airman on a convoy on some of the most dangerous roads in Iraq. My daughter-in-law is also an Iraqi War veteran, returning from Baghdad only two weeks ago. I have a vested interest in the decisions our leaders make for my country. I listen to my “gut” feeling on issues, then follow up by examination and research, then find that my gut feeling is usually right on. My opinions are never based solely on any party affiliation, or talking points, or repeated slogans.
That is who I am. I hope this answers your questions.
Just curious - What Democrats have twisted this into a story about Republicans overreacting and mistreating a homosexual? That makes no sense. This case is not a about a homosexual, it’s about a child predator regardless of the perp’s sexual orientation or party affiliation.
And the victim was a man not an underage boy? Hastert in his news conference today clearly spoke of the parents of the child. Why would Republicans go into damage control if Foley was emailing an adult?
