New York Post Reports Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is about to break a pre-election pledge with record speed. And this time, it's one of the cornerstone promises of the Democrats' victorious campaign to retake control of Congress.
Both before and after Election Day, Pelosi and top Democratic leaders vowed to implement all 41 recommendations of the 9/11 Commission headed by former Gov. Tom Kean and former Rep. Lee Hamilton.
Indeed, Pelosi and House Majority Leader-elect Steny Hoyer publicly vowed to enact the panel's full agenda within the "first 100 legislative hours" after the new Congress is sworn in on Jan. 4.
But that, The Washington Post now reports, ain't gonna happen.

"Breaking fundamental campaign promises is par for the course for the new majority party.
On the other hand, the best hope for the country is that they fail to deliver on the rest of their promised agenda, as well." New York Post
Insanity:
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Like voting for Democrats.
Let's hope the Republicans infected with this insanity recover by 2008!

I'm still trying to get over the phone call from Clinton to Chris Wallace lol.
Isnt this something?
The Democrat's have thrown more people over the rail and broken more promises that they ran on, and they havent even been sworn in yet.
This is going to be a wild 2 years!
Marie,
Let the liberals continue to show the people what what they really stand for. Stretch is 0 for 3 - Murtha - Hastings and now the 41 recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
Perhaps by 2008, probably a lot sooner, the American people might just wake up.
Like the article says, "On the other hand, the best hope for the country is that they fail to deliver on the rest of their promised agenda, as well."
