A couple thoughts on these items:
1. McConnell (R-KY) has had thoughts of being the Majority Leader if the Republicans keep the Senate.......He can kiss that goodby.
Chafee's a complete POS, and everyone expects him to get the issue wrong, but for McConnell to do so is disgusting.
2. If the Republicans can't get such an easy item as protecting the flag through, then how do they think they'll have the stones to get past the drilling issue?
The Democrats will filibuster, and the Republicans won't be solid themselves or able to pull enough Democrats to stop the filibuster......And the matter will die before it ever hits the floor.
It's a sad joke.
It seems the republicans don't have the stones for much of anything.
Rush Limbaugh today.
You can trash this country. You can open the borders. You can destroy it however you wish. You can show disrespect. We're just going to sit around and watch you do this, is not the attitude the American people have. Now, the amendment process is a legitimate process for changing the Constitution. And that's all this was. Flag burning amendment.
One more thing.
Bush is angry with the New York Traitor Times. But does nothing.
The Romans bitched alot too, but did little to keep the Goths from destroying them.......With a little help from the Huns and Vandals of course.
Our Goths = Mexicans
Our Huns & Vandals = Islamists
