THEY DON'T SUPPORT OUR TROOPS source Michelle Malkin

Lots of blog buzz over MoveOn.org's latest, noxious anti-war propaganda. First, check out the video here (in Quicktime)

Opinion Journal reported yesterday on a sharp-eyed Army captain's reaction to that scene in MoveOn's fund-raising ploy.
I just got back from my third deployment from Iraq on Friday, and I happened to be at the dentist and saw a completely offensive ad from the idiots at MoveOn.org this morning. Anyway, it is a Bush-bashing ad that pretends to be arguing for American soldiers families as they will miss the holidays and it shows turkey and crying wives and blames Bush for it all. Here is the crucial part of the ad that I would like to bring to your attention. As they pretend to argue on my behalf, they show a group of soldiers standing around a table in the Middle East...These are not your normal everyday U.S. soldiers though. If you look at the frame they are actually British soldiers. One is in shorts (we don't have shorts as a normal combat uniform) and the others are all clearly wearing British pattern fatigues. So, my point is that these [turkeys] pretend to argue on my behalf and bash the president in the name of my crying wife, and they don't even know what an American soldier looks like! Anyway, it really [ticked] me off.

President Discusses Border Security and Immigration Reform

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Tucson, Arizona
"As we work to secure the border, comprehensive immigration reform also requires us to improve enforcement of our laws in the interior of the country. Catching and deporting illegal immigrants along the border is only part of the responsibility. America's immigration laws apply across all of America, and we will enforce those laws throughout our land. Better interior enforcement begins with better work site enforcement. American businesses have an obligation to abide by the law, and our government has the responsibility to help them do so."

PSA: VA Prescription Co-Pays Increase by $1

Co-payments for outpatient medicines prescribed through Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities will rise by $1, according to an announcement today by VA. The $1 increase for a 30-day supply of prescription drugs will take effect on January 1, 2006. The increase to $8 for a 30-day supply of prescription drugs is required by federal law, and is based on increases in the Medical Consumer Price Index. Veterans in "Priority Group 1" - those veterans who have an injury or illness connected with their military service resulting in a 50 percent or greater disability will not be affected by the co-payment increase. Not all prescription drugs will be subject to the $1 increase.

Bruce Willis Offers Bounty on Terrorists' Heads

Bruce Willis is apparently offering a $1 million bounty on the heads of A-list terrorists like Osama Bin Laden, Aymen Al-Zawahiri and Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.

"Willis announced his reward on U.S. TV show 'Rita Cosby: Live & Direct,' where he also slammed biased media coverage of the Iraq war. He said, 'I am baffled to understand why the things that I saw happening in Iraq, really good things happening in Iraq, are not being reported on.'"

Mr. Willis is to be applauded for his proactive approach to celebrity activism! And this is certainly preferable to what we usually get from liberal Hollywood celebrities like Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, et al. After all, what else are all those 7-to 8- figure actor salaries useful for anyhow?

Kudos, too, to Mr. Willis for holding the media responsible for its distorted Iraq coverage. And Willis has actually been to Iraq, unlike most Hollywood celebrities who bloviate on the subject.

Bush rips Iraq war critics

President Bush addresses the crowd during a visit to the Tobyhanna Army Depot, in Tobyhanna, Pa., on Veterans Day. President Bush yesterday lashed out at Democrats for accusing him of manipulating intelligence to justify the Iraq war, saying such "false charges" undercut U.S. troops in harm's way.
"These baseless attacks send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning America's will."

But never fear the CommieCrats with the Duke of Chappaquiddick Bay leading the way continued with their anti-american rhetoric.

He called Mr. Bush's speech an "attempt to rebuild his own credibility by tearing down those who seek the truth about the clear manipulation of intelligence in the run-up to the Iraq war."

Mr. Bush even took the unusual step of quoting his opponent in last year's presidential election, Sen. John sKerry the head Commiecrat, one of more than 100 Democrats in the Senate and House who voted to authorize the war.
"When I vote to give the president of the United States the authority to use force, if necessary, to disarm Saddam Hussein," Mr. Kerry said at the time, "it is because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a threat, and a grave threat, to our security."
Yesterday, the DemocRat made clear he did not appreciate his words being resurrected. more

Iraqis Thank America [Melanie Morgan - Move America Forward]

Starting Wednesday, a major national television ad campaign will begin that features Iraqi Kurds thanking the United States for liberating them from Saddam Hussein.

This is the message that has not been reported by the old-line media: the people of Iraq are happy that Saddam is gone and they want to say "Thank You" to America.

The Kurdish region of Iraq is in the northern portion of that nation. Iraqi Kurdistan has been operating with a democracy for more than 10 years (their safety provided by 10-years of air cover by U.S. and British jets in the "No Fly Zone" in Iraq).

Watch these ads here-> http://www.TheOtherIraq.com The first one, "Thank You America" is the ad you will be seeing beginning on the Fox News Channel (running nationwide). And make sure you show this to everyone you know. Each time I've seen this ad I've been nearly brought to tears, seeing these people survive the murderous regime of Saddam Hussein and showing such warm and sincere appreciation for the United States.

AIDS Scandal in Clinton's Arkansas

A shocking new documentary shows how inmates at an Arkansas prison were paid to donate blood even though authorities knew they had AIDS and hepatitis.

Factor 8: The Arkansas Prison Blood Scandal," made by Kelly Duda, an Arkansas native, will reveal new details about how inmates at an Arkansas jail were paid to donate blood despite authorities knowing they had AIDS and hepatitis.

The movie Factor 8: The Arkansas Prison Blood Scandal by filmmaker Kelly Duda discloses that Arkansas, then under the leadership of Gov. Bill Clinton, allowed the contaminated blood from prisoners to be exported during the 1980s and 1990s to be used in the making of clotting agents for hemophiliacs.

As a result, thousands of people in the United Kingdom and other countries contracted AIDS or potentially fatal hepatitis, according to the UK's Sunday Herald.

The Whine Rack

The number of celebrity liberals who want to voice their leftist and anti-American ideas seems to be growing everyday. Ever since our great President George W. Bush was elected, the celiberals have been coming out like bats out of a cave. The list of the celiberals that have spoken anti-American or anti-Bush comments is always at the far left (be sure to scroll to see all of them) and listed here as well. These celebrities are so whiny and offensive, that they have made our Celebrity Liberal Whine Rack

LYING ABOUT THE DEAD

When you read The New York Times (if you still bother to read it), always ask: What is the Times not telling me?

The answers are invariably more compelling — and newsworthy — than what the paper actually deems "fit to print."

Let me give you an example.
Last Wednesday, the Times published a 4,624-word opus on American casualties of war in Iraq. "2,000 Dead: As Iraq Tours Stretch On, a Grim Mark," read the headline. The macabre, Vietnam-evoking piece appeared prominently on page A2. Among those profiled were Marines from the First Battalion of the Fifth Marine Regiment, including Cpl. Jeffrey B. Starr. Here's the relevant passage:

Another member of the 1/5, Cpl. Jeffrey B. Starr, rejected a $24,000 bonus to re-enlist. Cpl. Starr believed strongly in the war, his father said, but was tired of the harsh life and nearness of death in Iraq. So he enrolled at Everett Community College near his parents' home in Snohomish, Wash., planning to study psychology after his enlistment ended in August.
But he died in a firefight in Ramadi on April 30 during his third tour in Iraq. He was 22.

Sifting through Cpl. Starr's laptop computer after his death, his father found a letter to be delivered to the Marine's girlfriend. "I kind of predicted this," Cpl. Starr wrote of his own death. "A third time just seemed like I'm pushing my chances."

The paper's excerpt of Cpl. Starr's letter leaves the reader with the distinct impression that this young Marine was darkly resigned to a senseless death. The truth is exactly the opposite. Late last week, I received a letter from Cpl. Starr's uncle, Timothy Lickness. He wanted you to know the rest of the story — and the parts of Cpl. Starr's letter that the Times failed to include:

"Obviously if you are reading this then I have died in Iraq. I kind of predicted this, that is why I'm writing this in November. A third time just seemed like I'm pushing my chances. I don't regret going, everybody dies but few get to do it for something as important as freedom. It may seem confusing why we are in Iraq, it's not to me. I'm here helping these people, so that they can live the way we live. Not have to worry about tyrants or vicious dictators. To do what they want with their lives. To me that is why I died. Others have died for my freedom, now this is my mark." By MICHELLE MALKIN
Today's the official launch date for Michelle Malkin's new book, Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild:

As I noted, there were many photos providing vivid documentary evidence of my thesis that didn't make it into the book. So as an exclusive supplement, I present to you without further ado...Unhinged: The Mugshot Collection
The World According to J.C.
"Tedious" doesn't begin to describe the new book by America's worst ex-president.

As for neocons, Mr. Carter is nearly one himself, so obsessed does he claim to be with human rights. But much as he may hate the sin, he loves the sinner. Think of his view of various world figures from his White House years: Yugoslavia's Josip Tito ("a man who believes in human rights"); Romania's Nicolae Ceausescu ("our goals are the same"); the PLO's Yasser Arafat (a "misunderstood" figure for whom Mr. Carter once moonlighted as a speechwriter). And then there is Kim Il Sung ("vigorous," "intelligent"), whose relationship with Mr. Carter is reprised in this book. By Bret Stephens
